Wow! All i can say is thank the heavens above today is over. It went really smoother than I pictured it going, but i must say, the whole x-ray thing held us up! I had my cute lil sister come and be my very first patient ever! She was so so brave! It was fun to put everything we learned, especially radiology, together and be an actual hygienist. haha if you can call us that!
It was all the emotions you could think of all wrapped up into one big mess!!
Stress
Anger
Frustration
Excitement
Anxious
Surprised....
Basically to sum it up, you name it I felt it. I still dont believe we are ready to take second semester by the reins and go for it. I feel like we dont even know what we are doing yet! Good heavens, what is this world coming too?!! haha I guess we have to get thrown into the wild sometime!
Overall it was fun and quite the experience. I was not able to scale any quads on Kendra because everything else took too much time. I need to manage time better thats for sure. But thank heavens it went smoother than I thought, now I guess I can actually sleep tonight since its over....p.s.
I AM SO SO READY FOR THANKSGIVING BREAK!! Its sad to say, but I have actually already checked out....so bad right?....It happens to the best of us.
